David’s career in Accountancy began over 40 years ago, starting small but working up to take on key roles within bigger local accountancy firms. With the vast knowledge and experience he gained during these years, he decided to form Clairwood Secretarial. Today, this has grown into Clairwood Accounting LLP.
David is keen to help clients achieve both their business and their personal goals and has helped many fledgling local businesses become household names. He is deeply involved in all aspects of the business and is an in-house training advocate, ensuring that those who work with him benefit from his proficiency.
As a prominent figure in the community, David can be found at many local charity events, having either organised them or been roped in to help run them!
He also loves to travel and keep up to date with the latest technology to help him stay in touch with his children who live at various points around the globe!
To wind down after a long day of number crunching, David loves nothing more than sampling delicious food with a glass (or two) of wine or attending the theatre to watch plays, concerts or classical music events. He has even been know to tread the boards once in a while so watch this space……!
